Welcome to Écurie Solea, Corsica’s first active riding centre – an innovative concept where everything is designed with the horses’ wellbeing in mind.
Experience a total immersion in the heart of Corsican nature through our rides, designed as genuine moments of connection. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, we invite you to discover the Plaine Orientale from an authentic perspective, where a love of horses is our priority.
Here, horse riding is not just a simple ride: it is a genuine encounter, where you can take the time to look after your horse, forge a bond, and set off together to explore the countryside, in harmony with nature and your companion’s pace.
In the spirit of kindness and connection, our horses are mainly ridden with a halter. For the wellbeing and health of our horses, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate riders weighing over 100 kg. Our rides are led by qualified professionals who know the horses and the region inside out. Clean helmets are provided, and protective hairnets are available.
You can choose from several unique experiences:
• Corsican pony: fun pony rides combining a walk led by you with a recreational and cultural approach to help the little ones discover Corsica – 30 mins –
• Nature & River: a nature escape to discover the joys of a horse ride and a refreshing dip in the river – 1 hour –
• Plains & Beach: an escape through fields and along the shore to enjoy the pleasure of wading in the water – 2 hours –
• Gallop & Swim: the adrenaline rush of a gallop on the sand followed by a magical moment swimming with the horses (advanced level) – 3 hours –
• Equestrian Immersion: meet the herd at the working stables, learn how things work, prepare and care for the horses, and go for a ride – 3 hours 30 minutes –
• Sunrise: Set off at dawn for breakfast on the beach with the horses whilst watching the sun rise from the sea – 3 hours –
• Bespoke experience: Private groups, stag and hen parties, birthdays, photo shoots, marriage proposals, etc. It’s up to you to create your own ride – we’ll tailor it to your wishes!
Because these moments are precious, you’ll receive digital copies of your souvenir photos free of charge at the end of each outing. Come and share an unforgettable adventure with people and horses!
Solea Stables is open all year round and will be offering riding lessons for all ages at its riding school from autumn 2026.
